So great being back in my old stumping grounds. I'm sitting on a glass floor high above the street trying not to look down.

It's been 7 months since I left New York, home for over 4 decades. I wasn't sure how I would feel being back in New York.

The city just started to come alive, restaurants are slowing reopening, parks are open and the sky is blue. What's not to like? Until a guy on 52nd and Broadway started mouthing off and cursing at me. Oh well - welcome to New York.

I confess I miss my city. I will forever be a New Yorker at heart but I can also say that for now I'm a resident of West Palm Beach. I can't believe I don't have to pay taxes.

Friends made this visit SO SPECIAL. So happy to hug my life long friends, chatted away with Joy and Rex @ Le Quotidien, caught up with Ana, ate pizza with Anne, high tea at Bergdorf, enjoyed crab dish at Pure Thai on 9th Ave. with Michael and Suan. Game night @ The Dilena's and played 5 crowns. ( Surprised that I didn't win). The Cloisters was a treat - glad Cindy came. Loved the cherry blossoms in full bloom a Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Thanks Irene for meeting me at 7 am.

I actually became a tourist and visited places Ive always planned on going and never went.

Here are more pics from my recent trip to NYC
